There was recently a really interesting article published on Multiple Sclerosis News Today, part one of a series, all about the benefits of Pilates for people with MS.
The writer has MS and talks about his journey with it, including how he found Pilates. Whilst it’s not a cure, he admits that sometimes, during Pilates sessions and afterwards, he feels a little bit free.
“I have found Pilates to be extraordinarily challenging and physically rewarding. I frequently get lost in the pursuit of doing the exercises properly, which creates a very beneficial type of mindfulness, and for those 55 minutes I often forget that I have MS.”
