» Our Pilates Classes
All Pilates classes are taken by Jakki, who is a fully qualified advanced teacher with Body Control Pilates. She is also a member of the register of exercise professionals.
Small groups of people (max 12) per class. Working in a closely monitored environment. The Pilates exercises are built around individual needs, so as you progress though the various stages of the exercises, your strength & stamina increases. Pilates relies on strengthening the postural muscles which stabilise the torso & correcting muscle imbalances. The body is brought back into alignment, therefore avoiding muscle & ligament damage associated with some other fitness regimes.
- Beginners Pilates Workshop/Taster Pilates Session
This is a one off class held every other month and is designed for people with no experience in pilates technique. It is a full introduction to the pilates method, lasting around 2 hours. - Intermediate Classes
